A/V Technician III: Support ongoing AV/Video Teleconferencing (VTC) projects by building AV racks, installing and integrating AV equipment, and performing testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting with an accent on on-site integration, AV cabling fabrication/termination, and diagnosing existing AV systems. Focus on accurate labeling/configuration, inventory management, and maintaining readiness for government customer requirements.

What you will do
- Build AV racks from engineering drawings and label communications infrastructure (cable, panels, patch cords, electronics).
- Lead on-site integration and installation of AV equipment (monitors, speakers, microphones) in secure spaces.
- Fabricate, terminate, and install AV cabling, including installation of cabling in ceilings/walls and secure areas.
- Test, commission, and troubleshoot AV systems; diagnose issues in existing AV setups.
- Maintain inventory and record configuration information for installed equipment and software modules.
- Support travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites up to three weeks at a time (about 30% total travel).
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience testing and/or integrating audio visual (A/V) equipment.
- Ability to follow basic flow diagrams and work effectively in a team environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using MS Office products.
- Must be able to lift items up to NIOSH limits and perform physical tasks (stand/kneel/crouch for extended periods, climb ladders/scaffolding, work in high places and confined spaces).
- Security/eligibility: must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.

- Compensation follows prevailing wage rates and benefits specified under the Service Contract Act (SCA) for the role and location.
- Final pay depends on qualifications, education, experience, and contractual limitations.
