Salary: $175,000–$215,000 base

What you will do

• Design and evaluate hardware for aviation engine control systems, including actuators and pumps.
• Develop and validate EEC and FADEC systems, sensors, and fuel/lube components.
• Lead software and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulator design, commissioning, and integration testing.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for controls hardware within a cross-functional design team.
• Manage component test programs, setting objectives, limits, and instrumentation requirements.
• Integrate additive manufacturing methodologies to improve product design and speed to market.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• 12+ years of experience in engine control systems.
• Proficiency with Matlab and electronics design, including PCB layout.
• Experience with electric motors and power electronics for Brushless DC (BLDC) motors.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Ability to work onsite in Centennial, CO or Loveland, OH.

Nice to have

• Experience with electric machine design.
• Familiarity with design for additive manufacturing (DfAM) principles.
