What you will do

• Lead technical privacy-by-design reviews for new features and major architectural changes.
• Translate GDPR and CCPA requirements into concrete engineering standards and tooling.
• Evaluate and mitigate privacy risks in AI/ML systems, including training data pipelines and model outputs.
• Build and operate systems for user data rights and privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs).
• Conduct privacy impact assessments and threat modeling for high-risk data processing activities.
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure privacy policies accurately reflect underlying technology.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years focused on privacy or data protection.
• Deep understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and emerging global privacy frameworks.
• Proven experience building technical controls for data governance at scale (classification, lineage, retention).
• Familiarity with privacy risks in ML systems, such as model memorization and inference privacy.
• Hands-on experience applying privacy-by-design principles throughout product development.
• Must be based in the US (remote or hybrid).
