What you will do

• Advise finance and commercial teams on the accounting implications of deals, transactions, and new contracts.
• Develop and deliver accounting training across the organization to support professional development.
• Lead the implementation of new or amended accounting standards to ensure consistent group adoption.
• Set, review, and monitor adherence to group accounting policies.
• Own key accounting processes, including goodwill impairment, share-based payments, and viability assessments.
• Collaborate with external auditors on accounting judgements and review financial statement disclosures.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• 3+ years post-qualification experience in practice and/or industry.
• Strong technical accounting expertise and ability to draft detailed accounting papers.
• Ability to translate complex technical matters for senior leadership and the Audit Committee.
• Location: Based in London, UK.

Nice to have

• Experience producing or reviewing FTSE 100 annual reports.
• Experience in accounting advisory roles.
• Familiarity with SAP consolidation and financial reporting systems.
• Project leadership experience, including defining scope and driving delivery.
