Director, Strategic Sourcing - Technology (AI)

Location: Mountain View, California, or San Diego, California

Base pay: $247,000–$334,000 in Mountain View or $235,000–$318,000 in San Diego, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end category strategy and execution across cloud, software, hardware, telecom, engineering, and technology services.
• Design and implement data-driven sourcing strategies balancing cost, speed, quality, and innovation.
• Lead complex global technology agreements and negotiations while mitigating supplier risk.
• Advise VP-level stakeholders and senior leaders across hirify.global’s technology ecosystem.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships to improve innovation, performance, and accountability.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of approximately 50 employees and contract workers.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive strategic sourcing or commercial leadership experience.
• 5+ years of management experience, including recruiting, mentoring, developing, and retaining strategic sourcing talent.
• Expertise in strategic sourcing, financial analysis, and complex, high-value negotiations.
• Experience championing AI and automation across the sourcing function.
• Ability to manage a broad, global portfolio and align sourcing strategies with enterprise goals.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder influence, collaboration, and continuous improvement skills.
