What you will do

• Read and interpret schematic drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine material requirements.
• Assemble electrical systems and install components using rivets, bolts, soldering, or micro-welding equipment.
• Run wire and cable according to schematics and blueprints.
• Adjust, repair, or replace electronic component parts to correct defects and ensure specifications are met.
• Inspect and test wiring installations and circuits for resistance and proper operation.
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to plan work activities and resolve production problems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience in wiring or installing electrical components.
• Ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, and engineering diagrams.
• Basic math skills and proficiency with tools such as tape measures, impact drills, and wire crimpers.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Must have the ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
