Electrical Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Baltimore, MD, United States; office and manufacturing facility presence required

What you will do

• Design and alter moderately complex electrical equipment.
• Prepare CAD layouts, schematics, assemblies, detailed drawings, and bills of material.
• Test and debug equipment to isolate defects and resolve engineering problems.
• Evaluate designs and new parts, making engineering changes where required.
• Support manufacturing and assembly teams and maintain project files.
• Travel to customer sites to provide technical assistance to field teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Typically 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret moderately complex electrical schematics and mechanical assembly layouts.
• Working knowledge of CAD, engineering systems, manufacturing methods, electrical design, and project management.
• Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a customer facility and spend part of the role in a manufacturing area while using required PPE.
