Senior Frontier Agents Engineer (Applied AI)

What you will do

• Design and deploy production AI agents using large language models, reasoning, retrieval, memory, and tool use.
• Architect systems combining LLMs, traditional machine learning, structured knowledge, enterprise data, and deterministic software.
• Build retrieval pipelines, memory systems, knowledge representations, customer intelligence layers, and multi-agent workflows.
• Design evaluation frameworks, run A/B experiments and ablation studies, and measure quality, latency, reliability, cost, and business impact.
• Engineer guardrails, fallback strategies, monitoring, tracing, observability, and human-in-the-loop workflows for safe production deployment.
• Work directly with enterprise customers to translate ambiguous business problems into scalable AI architectures and reusable capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering, machine learning, or applied AI experience.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience building production AI systems with LLMs.
• Experience with modern AI tooling such as OpenAI, Claude, MCP, agent frameworks, vector databases, or retrieval systems.
• Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals and modern language models.
• Experience evaluating AI systems with quantitative metrics.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with enterprise customers.

Nice to have

• Experience building production AI agents, autonomous systems, RAG, semantic search, knowledge graphs, or structured knowledge representations.
• Experience with fine-tuning, distillation, reinforcement learning, small language models, model optimization, or multimodal AI.
• Experience with distributed systems, AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and production observability.
• Experience leading technical workshops, architecture reviews, or customer design sessions.
