What you will do

• Own the monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and workpapers for Investments, Treasury, and Inventory.
• Identify and implement opportunities to automate and streamline the monthly close using the ERP system.
• Perform fluctuation and variance analysis to ensure accurate monthly financial results.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain data completeness and accuracy for accounting purposes.
• Support annual audits and tax compliance data preparation.
• Document internal controls and drive process improvement within the Accounting Team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of related accounting experience, including prior public accounting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with enterprise software (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, Workday).
• Must be available to work Eastern Time Zone business hours.
• CPA designation or working towards one is strongly preferred.

• Big 4 experience in audit or tax.
