What you will do

• Design and implement scalable software components and infrastructure for internal developer platforms and distributed systems.
• Optimize and refactor tooling, services, and workflows to reduce developer friction and improve fault tolerance.
• Conduct technical design and code reviews for high-impact systems to ensure architectural alignment and security.
• Lead cross-functional technical initiatives, including scoping and executing complex projects across multiple domains.
• Develop reusable frameworks and internal APIs to standardize integration across the organization.
• Utilize telemetry, logs, and operational data to identify bottlenecks and prioritize architectural improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 6 years of experience, or Master's degree with 4 years of experience.
• 4 years of experience with REST APIs or gRPC.
• 4 years of experience with one of: Python, Java, C#, Javascript, or C++.
• 4 years of experience with Relational Databases (SQL), AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and S3 or Azure Blob Storage.
• 2 years of experience with Grafana, Prometheus or similar monitoring tools.
• Must be located within normal commuting distance of the New York office.
