Salary: $118,800 - $205,600

What you will do

• Lead technical design and architecture for software running on robotic devices and cloud-based backend services.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and day-to-day problem solving.
• Modernize legacy systems while maintaining stability for existing products in the field.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, computer vision, and cloud engineering teams to deliver connected experiences.
• Strengthen software development lifecycle practices, including planning, estimation, and delivery.
• Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience in a technical leadership or mentoring role.
• Strong proficiency in a modern object-oriented language such as Java, C#, C++, Python, or Go.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational database modeling.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in Longmont, Colorado.
