What you will do

• Execute full payroll cycles for US and international employees and contractors, ensuring timeliness and compliance.
• Administer payroll operations, tax setups, and employee data integrity within Rippling HCM.
• Serve as the primary liaison between People and Finance teams to ensure accurate data flow.
• Manage multi-state payroll compliance, with particular focus on California, New York, Texas, and Florida.
• Oversee year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation, tax filings, and audits.
• Partner with Strategic Finance on headcount planning, cost data, and scenario modeling.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience with full ownership of multi-state cycles.
• Hands-on experience with Rippling HCM.
• Strong working knowledge of US multi-state payroll compliance.
• Experience working cross-functionally between People/HR and Finance teams.
• Solid understanding of payroll accounting and month-end close processes.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-growth or remote-first organizations.
• CPP certification.
• Experience supporting workforce cost forecasting with FP&A teams.
