What you will do

• Drive partner technical success by ensuring schools fully integrate with hirify.global and adopt advanced capabilities.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor for advancement teams, bridging the gap between fundraising goals and IT implementation.
• Develop expert-level knowledge of major advancement CRMs including Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT, Salesforce/Affinaquest, and Slate.
• Build integration tools, custom applications, and prototypes to optimize data flow and deepen partner engagement.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to surface partner feedback and influence roadmap decisions.

Requirements

• 6-10+ years of experience in advancement, fundraising operations, or technical partner-facing roles in SaaS or EdTech.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Deep understanding of advancement team workflows, pain points, and the systems they utilize daily.
• Strong technical foundation in APIs, data modeling, and integration patterns.
• Proven track record of building tools, frameworks, or internal applications used by others.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible solutions for both leaders and engineers.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with major advancement CRMs (Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, Slate, etc.).
• Experience working within an advancement services or operations team at a college or university.
• Software development skills in Python, Ruby, or JavaScript for scripting and prototyping.
• Startup experience with the ability to deliver results in a less structured environment.
• Prior professional or volunteer experience in fundraising and alumni engagement.
