TL;DR
AWS Solutions Architect (EdTech): Designing and implementing scalable, secure cloud architectures for an EdTech platform with an accent on cloud transformation and modernization of legacy systems. Focus on designing event-driven microservices, optimizing AWS costs, and implementing Infrastructure as Code.

What you will do
- Design scalable and cost-effective AWS architectures utilizing ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB.
- Create target architectures and migration roadmaps for legacy systems moving toward cloud-native or hybrid models.
- Collaborate with C-level executives to understand business needs and define cloud transformation goals.
- Automate environments using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.
- Establish and improve logging, monitoring, and observability layers using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Ensure security best practices, disaster recovery, and backup strategies across the cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS in production environments.
- Solid background in application development or architecture (PHP, Java, or similar).
- Proven experience with REST APIs, microservice architectures, and event-driven systems.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration (ECS and/or EKS).
- Proficient level of English.
- Must be based in Poland.
Nice to have
- Experience with distributed tracing (OpenTelemetry, X-Ray).
- Knowledge of performance optimization at both application and infrastructure levels.
- Additional AWS or DevOps certifications (Security, SysOps, Networking).
- Experience working in regulated or high-availability environments.
