Solutions Architect (AI): Designing and owning technical engagements for frontier AI labs and enterprises to optimize GPU infrastructure for model training and inference with an accent on cluster architecture and POC execution. Focus on building the solutions architecture function from the ground up, managing the end-to-end customer journey from technical discovery to production.

What you will do

• Partner with Sales to lead technical discovery and scope evaluations based on customer success criteria.
• Design cluster and workload architectures focusing on MFU, tokens/sec, and cost per training run.
• Own the entire POC process, including benchmarks, success metrics, and stakeholder alignment.
• Manage the transition from signature to first production training run, including provisioning and debugging.
• Act as the permanent technical owner for accounts, handling capacity planning and performance optimization.
• Develop SA assets such as reference architectures, onboarding runbooks, and benchmarking harnesses.

Requirements

• Must be based in North America (Remote) or San Francisco, CA
• 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles with 2+ years in pre-sales (SE/SA).
• Direct experience supporting GPU compute at neoclouds, hyperscalers, or NVIDIA.
• Deep fluency in distributed training frameworks, multi-node topologies (InfiniBand/RoCE), and storage/checkpointing.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and SLURM scheduling environments.
• Working knowledge of Python for building prototypes and API integrations.

• Experience working with frontier AI labs or AI-native companies.
• Expertise in performance benchmarking and total-cost-of-training modeling.
• Experience as the first SE/SA in a company.
