TL;DR
Technology Product Manager (Cloud Infrastructure): Driving product strategy, roadmap, and ecosystem integration for VKS and Supervisor to run modern and AI/ML workloads with an accent on cloud-native infrastructure. Focus on defining multi-year strategies, translating customer needs into technical requirements, and engaging with the CNCF/Kubernetes open-source communities.
Location: On-site in Palo Alto, CA. Must have legal authorization to work in the US.
Salary: $143,800 – $230,000

What you will do
- Define and execute multi-year product strategy for VKS, targeting cloud-native and AI/ML use cases.
- Translate customer needs into detailed product requirements and user experience workflows.
- Partner with marketing and sales to drive adoption and accelerate VCF deployments.
- Engage with CNCF/Kubernetes open-source communities and represent the company at industry forums.
- Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions with global enterprise customers to validate product direction.
Requirements
- On-site presence in Palo Alto, CA is required.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the US.
- Product management experience in enterprise cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, or virtualization.
- Deep technical knowledge of K8s control plane, Cluster API, CNI/CSI, and vSphere/ESXi.
- Strong understanding of private/public cloud infrastructure and DevOps models.
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering with 12+ years experience, or MS/MBA with 10+ years experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with open-source governance and CNCF communities.
- History of presenting at major conferences like KubeCon or VMUG.
- Background in enabling platform architectures for AI/ML workloads.
