Staff Product Manager, Training Infrastructure (AI)

Location: Livingston, NJ; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; Sunnyvale, CA; or Bellevue, WA

Salary: $188,000–$275,000 base salary per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits based on eligibility.

What you will do

• Define and ship infrastructure-native products connecting W&B experiment tracking with CoreWeave cluster health, hardware telemetry, and compute orchestration.
• Own the strategy and evolution of W&B Launch, including job submission, compute orchestration, and support for agentic and automated research workflows.
• Work directly with frontier AI teams to understand infrastructure management, debugging, computation orchestration, and research automation needs.
• Partner with CoreWeave infrastructure and platform engineering teams and W&B engineering teams to identify and deliver integrations.
• Resolve friction in job submission, compute management, and infrastructure observability workflows.
• Evaluate and develop new concepts spanning profiling, managed environments, automation, agents, and the hardware-software boundary.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience in developer tools, deep learning infrastructure, or ML engineering platforms.
• Experience taking technical products from definition through production, measurement, and iteration.
• Technical fluency with Kubernetes, SLURM, job scheduling, hyperparameter optimization, and API design.
• Ability to influence AI engineers, software engineers, and stakeholders without formal authority.
• Strong communication skills and a high bar for developer experience and product quality.
• Applicants must meet US export-control requirements, including being a US person or eligible to access controlled information or obtain authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience with PyTorch, JAX, distributed training, or LLM development workflows.
• Hands-on experience with SLURM or Kubernetes for GPU-intensive workloads.
• Experience with W&B or other experiment-tracking and model-management platforms.
• Understanding of hyperparameter optimization and evaluation workflows for large models.
