Software Developer (Engineering Productivity)

Location: Must be based in Canada

Salary: 115,000 CAD – 145,000 CAD

What you will do

• Design and champion internal quality programs to drive reliability standards across engineering pods.
• Build SDLC observability pipelines to visualize delivery efficiency and identify bottlenecks.
• Define and automate key quality indicators like deployment frequency and change failure rate.
• Architect shift-left pipeline gates for performance, security, and accessibility checks.
• Develop synthetic data and production canary architectures to enable safe load testing.
• Lead the migration to a unified, AI-supported automation stack to reduce legacy complexity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with proficiency in Python or Go.
• Experience working at a systems level with modern developer infrastructure and production telemetry.
• Proven track record of instrumenting hard quality metrics and SLIs/SLOs.
• Experience with public cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
• Strong product-oriented mindset with the ability to build trusted partnerships across teams.
• Must be comfortable with early-morning or evening calls to collaborate with global teams.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with load testing tools like k6, Locust, Gatling, or JMeter.
• Experience building systems with AI agents and validating AI-generated code.
• Experience with declarative infrastructure as code (IaC) patterns.
