Principal Information Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $96,500–$207,500 USD

What you will do

• Mentor and coach junior team members to foster technical growth.
• Manage and support Venafi/Cyberark platforms and associated connectors.
• Define security requirements for new applications and enterprise projects.
• Provide subject matter expertise for the Encryption Management Program.
• Conduct security research on threats and remediation techniques.
• Support regulatory audits and internal risk assessments to ensure control effectiveness.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Eight or more years of relevant IT security experience.
• Expertise in encryption, cryptography, and certificate management.
• Hands-on experience with Venafi or Cyberark.
• Working knowledge of AWS and cloud security principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or similar.
• Experience within the financial services industry.
