What you will do

• Develop electrical design deliverables including schematics, printed wiring boards, circuit card assemblies, and bills of materials.
• Provide ECAD design expertise and collaborate with R&D engineers and technical specialists.
• Create and manage electrical documentation using established design methods and engineering practices.
• Utilize PLM systems to archive, track, and maintain configuration control of design documentation.
• Support project intake, estimation, planning, and progress reporting activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable design standards, security requirements, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Associate degree in engineering technology, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of experience for senior-level or 8+ years for principal-level placement.
• Hands-on experience using ECAD software to create schematics and component libraries.
• Working knowledge of printed wiring board construction, fabrication, and assembly processes.
• U.S. citizenship is strictly required due to project and security requirements.
• Ability to work effectively in a secure engineering environment and meet clearance eligibility.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Altium ECAD software and Siemens Teamcenter PLM software.
• Experience leading or supervising technical teams.
• IPC certifications such as CID or CID+.
• Knowledge of power electronics, analog, digital, RF, and electromagnetic interference (EMI).
