Salary: $125,000 – $155,000 USD / $125,000 – $160,000 CAD

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate ingestion and transformation pipelines for labor market, customer, and product data.
• Own the structure, testing, and documentation of core data, including skills and occupation taxonomies.
• Develop the transformation layer and datasets for internal analytics and customer-facing insights via Looker and Quicksight.
• Build and maintain ML data infrastructure, including feature pipelines for matching and recommendation models.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and the VP of Data & AI to shape the platform's data architecture.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing and operating production ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and deep expertise in SQL for data modeling in warehouses or data lakes.
• Hands-on experience with Airflow, dbt, and cloud data warehouses.
• Experience integrating varied external sources (APIs, third-party providers) and handling messy, inconsistent data.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
• Strong communication skills for explaining data models to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with HR, labor market data, or frameworks like O*NET and ESCO.
• Experience with hierarchical data, ontologies, or entity resolution.
• Knowledge of ML infrastructure, feature pipelines, or AWS SageMaker.
• Contributions to open source, publications, or technical talks.
