Salary: $138,000 - $200,100

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable data engineering solutions, including pipelines, data models, and analytics-ready products.
• Drive the modernization of legacy reporting and ETL platforms into cloud-native, automated architectures.
• Define and execute the technical roadmap for data engineering, platform modernization, and automation.
• Establish engineering standards, reusable patterns, coding guidelines, and data quality controls.
• Partner with architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into resilient data solutions.
• Mentor engineers in cloud data engineering, data modeling, and modern analytics practices.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or enterprise data platform development.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (No sponsorship, CPT, or OPT available).
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and distributed data processing (ETL/ELT).
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including deployment, monitoring, and operational support.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, warehousing, metadata management, and performance optimization.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spark or similar large-scale data processing frameworks.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud data services, Redshift, or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with modern transformation tools like dbt.
• Experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services and SAP Web Intelligence.
• Certifications in Cloud, Data Architecture, or AI/ML.
