What you will do

• Design and maintain Python-based tools and services for fleet data-collection planning and readiness pipelines.
• Automate route prioritization, asset tracking, and data ingestion/validation workflows.
• Develop real-time fleet and data-collection metrics dashboards to identify quality issues during missions.
• Create map tooling using simulation and topology evaluation to validate updates before release.
• Manage relational and spatial databases (PostgreSQL, SQLite) for performance and scalability.
• Deploy scalable data pipelines and analytics infrastructure using AWS and Databricks.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python for building production-quality tools, scripts, and services.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming relational and analytical data.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, SQLite, and Databricks for large-scale data processing.
• Working knowledge of C++ and TypeScript for interfacing with vehicle code and building UIs.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to the specified USA locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with PostGIS, HD maps (OpenDRIVE, NDS, Lanelet2), or routing algorithms.
• Background in autonomous vehicles or machine learning.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Grafana, Plotly, or Databricks dashboards.
