What you will do

• Define and drive the design vision and end-to-end experience for key areas of the Altium 365 platform.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for complex, data-heavy collaborative workflows.
• Partner with product managers and engineering leaders to align design solutions with technical feasibility and business priorities.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate based on feedback.
• Collaborate with design systems designers to evolve shared components, patterns, and tokens.
• Document design rationale and specifications for seamless engineering handoff.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in product design, specifically for SaaS, cloud, or complex technical platforms.
• Proven track record of owning end-to-end design in a multi-team environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma (components, variables, tokens, prototyping).
• Strong systems thinking and expertise in designing for data-rich workflows.
• Deep understanding of interaction design, responsiveness, and modern web patterns.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineers and understanding front-end constraints.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
• Strong understanding of design systems, tokens, and theming.
• Experience with user research and usability testing.
