Location: Remote, but must be based in the Southwest Mountain states (Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, and Louisiana). Requires roughly 50% or more travel.

Compensation: $177,000 – $266,000

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of Systems Engineers across the Southwest Mountain region.
• Partner with regional sales leadership to achieve revenue targets, pipeline growth, and market expansion.
• Drive technical engagement and enablement for channel partners, distributors, and key end customers.
• Guide pre-sales activities, including solution design, demos, POCs, and RFx responses.
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex, multi-country deployments.
• Collaborate with product management to provide regional market feedback and influence the product roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of pre-sales or systems engineering experience in networking (Wi-Fi, switching, routing).
• 3+ years of experience leading or managing technical teams.
• Strong experience working with channel partners and distributors in multi-country markets.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking solutions, specifically wireless and switching.
• Must be located in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, or Louisiana.

Nice to have

• Proficient understanding of new customer acquisition and technical influencing strategies.
• Experience with verticals such as MDU, K-12, SLED, higher education, hospitality, or logistics.
• Advanced knowledge of Wi-Fi 5/6/7, SASE, SD-WAN, and virtualization environments (VMWare, Azure, AWS).
• Strong program management and executive-level presentation skills.
