Observability Platform Engineer (Elastic)

Location: Hybrid (3 times per week in Katowice office, Poland)

Salary: From 13,000 PLN gross monthly

What you will do

• Evolve the Elastic-based observability platform to deliver reliable telemetry across products and operations.
• Implement end-to-end visibility across logs, metrics, traces, events, and application performance.
• Create dashboards, visualizations, and alerting solutions for infrastructure, cloud services, and business-critical applications.
• Partner with engineering teams to establish instrumentation standards and strengthen application observability.
• Optimize telemetry pipelines through data onboarding, parsing, enrichment, and retention.
• Support incident response by providing operational insights and root-cause analysis capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience with observability, monitoring, telemetry, or platform engineering in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Elastic Agent, Logstash, Beats, Elastic APM).
• Experience with cloud, containerized, or distributed application environments.
• Proficiency in scripting, automation, or IaC (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, Ansible).
• Business-fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Must be based in Poland and available to work from the Katowice office 3 times per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, service maps, SLOs, and SLIs.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Azure, Linux, networking, and databases.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
