What you will do

• Design and architect scalable AWS cloud infrastructure and develop IaC solutions using Terraform.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment following DevOps and DevSecOps best practices.
• Architect and manage Kubernetes environments (EKS, AKS, GKE) and implement developer portals via an IDP (e.g., Backstage).
• Define and enforce monitoring, alerting, and observability standards to ensure infrastructure reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge across the team, and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to drive a unified engineering culture.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work from Kraków, Poland (hybrid model: 3 days in office)
• 4+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering (AWS, GCP, and Azure).
• 2+ years of experience with IaC tools (Terraform or Ansible) and scripting in Python, Bash, or Go.
• 2+ years of Kubernetes administration (EKS preferred) including networking, RBAC, and service mesh (Istio).
• 2+ years of experience designing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking protocols (VPC, Direct Connect, BGP, OSPF) and microservices architecture.
