What you will do
- Develop subject matter expertise in major European regulations including ESMA, EMEA, and MiFID.
- Execute risk and control processes to ensure adherence to regulatory reporting deadlines.
- Collaborate with Business, Engineering, Compliance, and Legal teams to support reporting functions.
- Consult on functional projects to facilitate compliant commercial activity.
- Analyze complex system infrastructure to understand data flows and booking models.
- Implement process improvements using data analytics, automation, and AI tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 3.5 years of experience in financial services.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
- Understanding of financial markets, regulatory landscapes, and risk management.
- Proactive mindset toward process improvement and adoption of AI/automation tools.
- Ability to manage competing priorities within tight deadlines.
Nice to have
- Experience with regulatory reporting (ESMA, MiFID, London Takeover Panel).
- Working knowledge of trade lifecycles and financial products (equities, derivatives).
- Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx.
- Experience with regulatory rule review and interpretation.
