Salary: $180,000 - $220,000

What you will do

• Design and govern enterprise cloud architecture across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and hybrid environments.
• Create detailed architecture documentation, network diagrams, and ATO artifacts aligned with NIST RMF and FedRAMP.
• Enforce cloud security standards including Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), IAM, and workload isolation patterns.
• Lead cloud migration planning (rehost, replatform, refactor) for on-premise workloads.
• Establish Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Bicep.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for cloud architecture for government customers and prime contractors.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of cloud architecture experience, with 4+ years specifically for DoD, IC, or federal programs.
• Proven experience with AWS GovCloud and/or Azure Government landing zones and IAM.
• Hands-on expertise with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, etc.) and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Deep knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53, CMMC Level 2/3, and DFARS.
• Active Secret clearance required at time of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• TS/SCI eligibility.
• Experience with Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) or multi-level security (MLS) architectures.
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS) and service mesh in GovCloud environments.
• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• TOGAF 9/10 certification.
