What you will do

• Design and govern enterprise cloud architecture across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and hybrid environments.
• Develop solution design documents, network diagrams, and ATO artifacts aligned to NIST RMF, ICD 503, and FedRAMP.
• Define and enforce cloud security standards, including Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and IAM.
• Lead cloud migration planning and execution, assessing on-premise workloads and defining migration strategies.
• Establish Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Bicep.
• Mentor cloud engineers and DevSecOps practitioners and establish architecture review processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 8–12 years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 4 years designing solutions for DoD, IC, or federal government programs.
• Proven experience with AWS GovCloud and/or Azure Government landing zone design, networking, and IAM.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tooling and CI/CD pipeline security.
• Working knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53, and CMMC Level 2/3.
• Active Secret clearance required at time of hire.

Nice to have

• TS/SCI eligibility.
• Experience designing Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) or multi-level security (MLS) architectures.
• Familiarity with NSA/CSS cloud security standards or DoD Cloud Computing SRG.
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS) and service mesh in GovCloud environments.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or TOGAF 9/10 certification.
