Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite in Cheyenne, Wyoming, United States

Salary: $88,400–$119,600 per year. Sign-on bonus up to $12,500.

What you will do

• Maintain the operational security posture of information systems supporting Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities.
• Prepare, review, and update system authorization packages and security documentation.
• Coordinate hardware, software, and firmware changes, assess their security impact, and provide recommendations to the ISSM.
• Conduct periodic compliance reviews, self-inspections, audit record analysis, and security impact assessments.
• Identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities and support implementation of countermeasures.
• Monitor recovery processes and ensure security features, procedures, and safeguards are restored and documented.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of related experience, including prior work as a system administrator, network administrator, or ISSO.
• SAP experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related area, or an associate degree plus 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience totaling 4 years.
• IAT Level II or IAM Level II certification within 6 months of hire, such as Security+ CE or CCNA Security.
• Current TS/SCI clearance required; ability to attain TS/SCI with CI polygraph required.
• U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• GSEC, GICSP, or CCNA Security certification.
