What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated integration, end-to-end, and regression tests for backend REST services.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing where automation is not feasible.
• Build and mature QA processes, standards, and the definition of done within the squad.
• Collaborate with Product and Development teams to apply quality gates and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated regression, smoke, and integration test suites into GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Use GenAI tooling with sanitized data to accelerate test design and automation.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in software QA with a senior-level track record in the fintech domain.
• Strong expertise in API testing (REST) and microservices or event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium and Playwright with TypeScript.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java or Kotlin).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with GitHub Actions.
• Practical experience with Postman/Newman, Charles Proxy, and Xray (or similar tooling).

Nice to have

• Experience with financial accuracy, transactional data, and regulatory compliance (KYC/AML).
• Experience with performance and security testing.
• Familiarity with event-driven and event sourcing architectures.
