Quality Engineer

What you will do

• Process material notifications (MN’s) administratively and perform initial disturbance investigations to assign the correct source of cause.
• Validate containment actions and initiate/validate vendor RCA (Root Cause Analysis) when applicable.
• Drive preventive measures by connecting with hirify.global and/or vendor organizations and ensuring preventive actions are implemented and validated.
• Analyze and prioritize disturbances occurring during execution to ensure the right follow-up by the right solving party.
• Spend about half of the time on the production floor in the Clean Room to perform initial investigations with stakeholders and conduct Gemba’s.

Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in quality management, industrial engineering, mechanical/electrical engineering, automotive/aviation engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of active experience in production and/or suppliers’ quality assurance.
• Knowledge of quality principles with training and certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
• Ability to access controlled technology under the United States Export Administration Regulations (legal authorization required prior to starting work).
