TL;DR

Senior Backend Engineer (Go): Building and optimizing SSO, account management, and billing services with an accent on OAuth implementation and usage-based pricing. Location: Hybrid. Must have a registered business in selected EU countries and be able to spend 5 working days per quarter at the Wrocław office.

What you will do

• Own the SSO service and OAuth implementation, leading technical decisions and proposing improvements.
• Develop and maintain the hirify.global-billing system, including subscriptions and payment provider integrations.
• Drive projects end-to-end from business requirements to design and delivery.
• Proactively monitor and maintain services to prevent incidents and blockers.
• Collaborate on cross-company initiatives like customer migration to hirify.globalApp and ACAM role management.

Requirements

• Deep protocol-level understanding of OAuth 2.0 (flows, token types, authorization models).
• Strong production experience with Go.
• Proficiency in MySQL.
• Familiarity with GCP and Kubernetes.
• Proven track record of owning backend projects from design to delivery.
• AI-native workflow using tools like Cursor or Claude Code.

Nice to have

• Experience with billing, subscriptions, or payment systems.
• Knowledge of ClickHouse or similar columnar databases.
