What you will do

• Design and evolve scalable distributed systems in Go, focusing on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Define technical architecture for microservices, APIs, data storage, and event-driven solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical plans and identify risks and constraints early.
• Design REST/gRPC APIs with versioning and backward compatibility.
• Lead code reviews, mentor engineers, and promote Go best practices.
• Improve CI/CD processes and collaborate with stakeholders to align technical decisions with business goals.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience and 4-5+ years of production experience with Golang.
• Strong knowledge of Go concurrency patterns: goroutines, channels, context, and memory model.
• Experience designing distributed, microservice-based, and high-load backend systems.
• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).
• English: B1+ (Intermediate) or higher required; Available to work from 9AM to 6PM CEST.

Nice to have

• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, ClickHouse) or Redis.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) or Event-Driven Architecture.
• Previous experience as an Architect, Staff Engineer, or Principal Engineer.
• Experience integrating AI/LLM components into production systems.
