Location: Remote (EU), but must be eligible to work or invoice in Poland. Hybrid option available in Gdansk (office visit at least once a month).

Salary: From 70,000 EUR yearly (approx. 6,200 EUR monthly).

What you will do

• Create and maintain high-performance, scalable backend microservices using Go.
• Build seamless API integrations with external travel suppliers via REST and gRPC.
• Develop a greenfield booking platform and search engines to replace legacy PHP/Scala systems.
• Optimize system performance to process large volumes of offer data for high-traffic operations.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and architectural consistency.
• Drive the adoption of best practices and innovative technologies within the development process.

Requirements

• Min 7 years of professional software development experience, including at least 5 years of commercial Go experience.
• Proven expertise in designing and building distributed systems and microservices.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
• Practical experience with REST APIs, gRPC, and architectural patterns (Hexagonal, Clean Architecture).
• English: B2 level minimum.
• Must be eligible to work or invoice in Poland.

Nice to have

• DevOps skills, including Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
