Portfolio Analyst

What you will do

• Generate analytical reports and dashboards from portfolio and investment data.
• Build and maintain Google Sheets and Excel models using advanced formulas and data manipulation techniques.
• Maintain portfolio data quality by reconciling information across internal systems and flagging discrepancies.
• Provide portfolio and market data to support strategic decisions across Ventures, Marketing, Sales, and Legal.
• Prepare and validate data for external databases and industry publications, including PitchBook and Crunchbase.
• Automate reporting workflows and support custom analyses and firm-wide initiatives using SQL, VBA, AI tools, and other technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• Ability to understand complex datasets, identify trends, and communicate insights effectively.
• Highly proficient in Google Sheets and Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, independent, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL, VBA, or AI tools such as Claude.
