Senior Data Analyst (AI)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; office-based. A Spanish work permit obtained before applying is mandatory.

What you will do

• Research, explore, and analyze data to support user acquisition, retention, and monetization decisions.
• Partner with game teams on player behavior analysis, business questions, and A/B test design and evaluation.
• Build and maintain trusted data models and pipelines using the modern data stack.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports for studio stakeholders.
• Apply machine learning to behavioral segmentation and monetization projects.
• Explore AI and Generative AI applications, including LLMs, agents, and copilots, to accelerate analysis and reporting.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science, or data science.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in mobile gaming.
• Highly proficient in SQL and Python for data exploration and analysis.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses, preferably Amazon Redshift, and transformation tools such as dbt.
• Strong experience with Power BI or similar BI tools, Git/GitLab, advanced statistics, predictive analytics, and segmentation.
• Valid Spanish work authorization must be obtained before applying.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted tools and Generative AI or LLM analytics use cases.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, project management tools, CI/CD, and code review.
• Passion for games and interest in mobile free-to-play games.
