Principal Data Operations Analyst

Location: Hybrid, Madrid, Spain

Salary: €32,100–€36,000 gross per year

What you will do

• Execute statistical operations processes and support projects for the assigned market.
• Review Consumer Panel Services data to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and suspicious deviations.
• Investigate and resolve data-related questions from Client Operations and Data Operations teams.
• Monitor quality metrics and recommend improvements to data accuracy and process efficiency.
• Collaborate with Operations, Project Management, and Data Science teams on operational initiatives.
• Document processes, findings, and recommendations while supporting process harmonization and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database structures, plus experience handling, manipulating, and analyzing data.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent English and fluent Spanish or Portuguese required.
• Must be based in Madrid.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in quantitative analysis, data operations, or a related analytical field.
• Experience with Python and/or R.
• Experience executing research or analytics projects and translating insights into operational or analytical solutions.
