Compensation: MYR 108,000 – MYR 125,000 yearly

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Java-based microservices within a cloud-hosted AWS architecture.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to uphold standards for software quality, security, and correctness.
• Perform operational procedures and maintenance on runtime systems, both manual and automated.
• Contribute to the definition of system architecture and software design.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of products and delivery processes.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in Malaysia; no visa sponsorship available.
• 5+ years of software development experience with a deep understanding of distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Java (8+) and the Spring Boot framework.
• Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
• Working knowledge of modern software development lifecycle methodologies like SCRUM.
