Senior Software Engineer (Java) (Healthcare/Backend): Building scalable, reliable client applications that enhance patient care with an accent on Java backend development, Spring Boot, event-driven architecture, and database integration. Focus on designing maintainable systems, implementing messaging with RabbitMQ, ensuring code quality through testing and reviews, and mentoring engineers.
Location: Hybrid in Krakow or remote within Poland
Salary: 103–164 PLN/hour + VAT on B2B, or 14,270–22,200 PLN gross for permanent employment

What you will do
- Develop clean, well-tested, and maintainable Java code for complex client solutions.
- Design scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications with the development team.
- Conduct code reviews and apply unit testing and engineering best practices.
- Contribute to an Agile team and its continuous improvement.
- Mentor team members and support their professional development.
Requirements
- Extensive backend development experience and excellent Java knowledge.
- Expert-level knowledge of Spring Boot and object-oriented programming.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and hands-on experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including database migrations.
- Experience designing scalable and reliable applications.
- Fluency in Polish and English, written and spoken, is required.
