Senior Java Developer

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement secure, performant, and maintainable RESTful APIs.
• Integrate Kafka and RabbitMQ messaging systems for event-driven architectures.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and operate services in cloud environments, ideally Azure.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to improve reliability and observability.
• Resolve production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and participate in on-call incident management when applicable.

Requirements

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience with Java 11 or higher and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, message queuing, Git, Maven or Gradle, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience working in cloud environments and with software testing, code review, documentation, and performance optimization.
• Professional English proficiency is required for daily collaboration with international teams.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, ownership, and continuous-improvement skills in agile environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, payroll, HR tech, or other highly regulated sectors.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps tools, SRE practices, API gateways, service mesh, or service discovery.
• Advanced experience with event-driven architectures such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
