What you will do

• Manage construction contractor safety and health program administration and associated budgets.
• Implement and maintain Drug and Alcohol Substance Abuse Programs for the project.
• Develop and conduct employee safety training and perform site safety inspections and audits.
• Conduct incident and injury investigations, producing detailed reports and progress updates.
• Interface with clients and government officials regarding environmental and safety policies.
• Supervise direct reports and support continuous improvement and change management efforts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a construction environment.
• 5+ years of dedicated safety and health experience.
• Safety and health certification; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Certifications: First Aid, CPR, OSHA 500, and OSHA 10 hour.
• Ability to perform hard physical labor in extreme temperatures for up to 12-hour shifts.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment background checks and drug screens.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of construction contracting strategies and contract administration.
• Experience with owner-controlled and contractor-controlled insurance programs.
