What you will do

• Own commercial strategy and sourcing execution for indirect spend categories including professional services, BPO, and staffing.
• Lead sophisticated negotiations with external providers, management consultancies, and outsourcing partners.
• Partner with senior business stakeholders to shape supplier decisions and provide commercial counsel.
• Build and maintain category strategies that align short-term activity with long-term business outcomes.
• Analyze spend data to identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Risk teams to balance speed, value, and governance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or a related commercial discipline.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable outcomes in complex, high-value negotiations.
• Experience setting up sourcing processes, playbooks, or ways of working from scratch.
• Strong analytical and influencing skills to assess portfolios and drive focus.
• Ability to operate independently and create structure in ambiguous, high-growth settings.
• Must be based in Sydney, Australia.
