What you will do

• Repair and maintain material handling equipment (MHE) and pneumatic systems throughout the building.
• Execute preventative maintenance routines and maintain detailed documentation.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems involving belts, motors, photo-eyes, and relays.
• Manage work orders, labor hours, and department inventory using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Mentor junior technicians to support their professional growth.
• Collaborate with the Operations facility to maintain positive working relationships.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and meet physical demands, including lifting 50 lbs and walking 6-12 miles per day.

Nice to have

• Associate's degree or higher in a Mechanical or Electrical field.
• Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and industry requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.
