What you will do

• Design and maintain curated analytical datasets and data models as canonical sources for metrics and dashboards.
• Own end-to-end metric definitions in collaboration with data science and product teams.
• Develop executive-level dashboards and self-serve reporting tools for business stakeholders.
• Translate complex business questions into performant and discoverable data assets.
• Establish and enforce data quality standards through testing frameworks and monitoring.
• Drive adoption of consistent data modeling patterns and naming conventions across the data organization.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in analytics or data engineering focusing on consumer-facing datasets.
• 3+ years of experience designing and maintaining robust data models from structured and unstructured sources.
• Expert proficiency in SQL for writing accurate and effective code.
• Fluency in Python or another programming language with solid fundamentals in CI/CD and version control.
• Experience building executive dashboards using BI tools such as Looker or Tableau.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills to bridge technical and business teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern analytics tools and workflows such as dbt and BigQuery.
• Background in building semantic layers or metrics stores.
• Experience working on monetization or subscription-based products.
• Passion for Discord and online communities.
