What you will do

• Manage and develop a growing team of 5-15+ all-source investigators, handling 1:1s and career pathing.
• Oversee the operational cadence of legal processes and data fusion targeting at high volume.
• Act as the primary quality control layer for target packages and attribution write-ups to ensure they are defensible and actionable.
• Source, interview, and onboard new investigators to scale the team's capabilities.
• Partner with engineering, legal, and government stakeholders to refine tooling and joint disruption operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of people management experience with a track record of accelerating high performers and managing underperformance.
• Proven experience producing investigative packages held to an external standard (e.g., adjudicated by DOJ or OFAC).
• Deep background in illicit-finance investigations, including scams, fraud, sanctions, or money laundering.
• AI fluency: Ability to apply AI to accelerate workflows and establish team competency standards.
• Working-level familiarity with legal processes such as subpoenas and warrants.
• US Citizenship required; ability to obtain public trust may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience with crypto or on-chain investigative tradecraft.
• Direct familiarity with the scam ecosystem (pig butchering, romance fraud, etc.).
