What you will do

• Lead the maturation of the insider threat detection program toward an AI-augmented capability.
• Perform intrusion and insider risk analysis using SIEM, UEBA, and AI-generated insights.
• Serve as the human escalation point for security events that automated tooling cannot fully resolve.
• Design and build AI-driven and SOAR-based automated workflows with defined guardrails.
• Evaluate AI/ML model accuracy, bias, and drift to ensure detection logic remains trustworthy.
• Partner with HR, Legal, and business stakeholders to investigate and remediate sensitive insider matters.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 8+ years of Security Engineering and Analysis experience, specifically in Threat Detection and Response.
• 5+ years of IT or networking experience.
• Hands-on experience with Insider Threat tools, UEBA platforms, and SOAR playbook development.
• Proficiency in automation through scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with NIST and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.

Nice to have

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, or OSCP.
• Experience with malware analysis techniques and network packet analysis.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring security engineering teams through AI adoption.
• Experience presenting risk metrics to senior leadership.
