What you will do

• Assist local teams with equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Develop, document, audit, and improve lab SOPs for extraction lab processes.
• Lead and coordinate Lab Managers to ensure proper equipment use, maintenance, and strict SOP adherence.
• Audit and interpret processing data to adjust extraction parameters and practices.
• Manage QMS documentation/control/audits and coordinate maintenance workflows via FIIX (CMMS).
• Partner with VP of Manufacturing on R&D, efficiencies/KPIs, vendor relationships, and expansion commissioning; ensure site visits at least once every 12 weeks.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience managing a Cannabis Manufacturing setting.
• 4+ years of general management experience; 7–9 years of lab operation experience (or Bachelor’s degree plus equivalent experience).
• Strong communication, conflict management, organizational skills, and ability to guide/direct reports.
• Ability to work within state legal medical marijuana program requirements and applicable laws.
• Proficiency with standard office tools and ability to use/learn systems such as BioTrack, Metrc, CMMS, and QMS.
• Ability to travel 50%, up to 75% as needed.
