What you will do

• Monitor platform health, utilization, and capacity across all private cloud environments.
• Manage compute provisioning, configuration, and full lifecycle operations.
• Track resource utilization and deliver reporting to drive efficiency and accountability.
• Provide first-line operational support, triage incidents, and manage escalations.
• Enforce operational standards, access controls, and governance policies.
• Support compute and storage infrastructure, including Ceph storage and server lifecycles.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience operating cloud or virtualized infrastructure at scale.
• Strong Linux systems administration skills (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
• Hands-on experience with distributed storage (Ceph preferred) or SAN operations.
• Experience with monitoring stacks, dashboards, alerting, and capacity planning.
• Virtualization experience with KVM, VMware, or similar technologies.
• Must be based in Ireland.

Nice to have

• Operational experience with OpenStack or Taikun.
• Kubernetes cluster operations, including node management and cluster lifecycle.
• Server hardware lifecycle experience (rack, commission, IPMI/iDRAC/iLO).
• Automation skills using Ansible, Terraform, or scripting.
• Awareness of ITSM/ITIL frameworks for incident and change management.
